DVME Activation

Beginning with Version 2.1.23, DVME requires registration in order to activate the product.  Prior to activation, DVME will be in Demo Mode and the Discover Video logo will appear in the output video stream or captured file.
 

How To Activate

The party that buys DVME will automatically receive a Product Code and instructions via email.  If you already have activated at least one product, then you may view your product code(s) at the Activation Center.

Once you have a Product Code, simply follow these steps:

1) Select "Buy / Register" from the DVME toolbar

2) Select "Online Activation"

3) Copy/Paste, or type in your Product Code and select Next, then Finish.

DVME is activated for one computer.  You cannot activate DVME on multiple computers with the same product code.  However, you can de-activate your product code online, and then activate DVME on another computer.  Go to the Activation Center and log in using the credentials sent to you by Discover Video, and select "My Products" to change activation status.

In some cases, it may be necessary to activate DVME when it is installed on a computer that does not have access to the public Internet.  In this case:

1) Select "Buy / Register" from the DVME toolbar

2) Select "Local Activation"

3) Copy your User Key

4) Go to the Activation Center and log in using the credentials sent to you by Discover Video

5) Select "Activate New Product" and paste in the User Key provided by the DVME authentication wizard,

6) Select "Activate" on the Activation Center page where the User Key was pasted, then copy your new Activation Key and paste this Activation Key into the DVME activation wizard.

Please note that you cannot use the serial number from a prior version of DVME, If you have a prior version and require a Activation Code, please contact support.
