NIC Teaming on DEVOS Servers with Cisco Meraki Network Switches

On some DEVOS servers - particularly those installed on servers with 1 Gbps network interface cards (NICs) - the multiple NICs may be teamed. When teamed through the Windows Server operating system's Server Manager, the standard method Discover Video uses is the standard Microsoft switch independent teaming. Some network switches, however, do not support this method. They instead require some sort of switch dependent teaming such as either Static Teaming or Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP). This could also be done not on the server, but through the switch itself using port aggregation. One type of switches that Discover Video has discovered does not support switch independent teaming are certain Cisco switches called Meraki MS. These switches only support LACP, so they would require the teaming to be done through port aggregation in the switch configuration.
