            Twitter Feed for Signage

You can include a Twitter feed in your Digital Signage display by following these instructions.

            1) Create an embedded Twitter feed in your Twitter account using Twitter's instructions
            https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines

For example, here is the embed code for Discover Video's Twitter feed:

            <a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/dvidtweet" data-widget-id="464500351895236608">Tweets by @dvidtweet</a>
            <script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

Copy the URL and data-widget-id from this code (each is in red, above).

            2) Open a DEVOS Digital Signage page in your browser and copy the entire URL of the running sign.

            3) Open a new browser and enter the following:

            http://video.discovervideo.com/test/signage/?s=[URL TO THE DEVOS SIGN]&twitter=[TWITTER URL]&twitterid=[TWITTER ID]

            Where
[URL TO THE DEVOS SIGN] is the normal sign to which you will add a Twitter feed
[TWITTER URL] is the href value from your Twitter embed code
[TWITTER ID] is the data-widget-id from your Twitter embed code

Verify that the Twitter feed and signage is working in your browser.

            4) Create a New Sign in DEVOS using the Web template.  Paste the above URL from your browser to the Web Template set up.

            Done!
