The Dell Latitude E5440 has two USB 3.0 ports, one on each side, and one USB 2.0 port on the rear. Captiva devices should be plugged in to the USB 3.0 port.
The Dell Latitude E5430 has one eSATA/USB 3.0 connector on the left, one USB 3.0 port on the left, and USB 2.0 ports on the right and rear, Captiva devices should be plugged into USB 3.0 port.
For power, certain Captiva devices have an extra USB port that should be plugged in to any USB port.
Live-2 devices should be plugged in to a USB 2.0 port.
