Managing Learning Path Invitations, Assignments, and Scores

NOTE: A user or a Team Share the user is a member of must have Learning Path privileges assigned to their DEVOS account in order to create and manage Learning Path courses. For more information, search for Privileges in the support knowledge base.   
Depending on the settings of the Learning Path course, users can be invited to view a Learning Path course either as a DEVOS user or as someone without a user account in DEVOS. Users who already have an account in DEVOS can also have a Learning Path course assigned to them. Whether they were invited or had the course assigned to them, there are two places where the Learning Path owner can monitor who has responded and viewed the Learning Path course. The first is to identify whether the user has responded to the invitation to view the Learning Path. The second is to view the progress and any points earned by the user by viewing the Learning Path along with the specific results of questions answered by the user.

Manage Invitations to Learning Path Courses

Once a user has been invited to view a Learning Path course, they will show up in the course owner's account under Account Settings in the DEVOS Admin Portal. To view the status of these invitations, click on Invitations under Account Settings in the Admin Portal.

A list of invitations will be shown along with the date and time of the invitation and the results of whether the invitation was opened yet or not.

If the invitation was sent as an invite, the subject of the email will be displayed as the Invitation Subject. If the Learning Path was assigned to the user, the Invitation Subject will appear as "Course Assignment". To see who the invitation was sent to, click on the 1 under opened or pending. If you click on a Pending result, you will see the email address of the person the invitation was sent to as well as a button to resend the invitation again.

If the result clicked on is an Opened result, the date and time that the invitation was responded to will also be shown along with the name of the person.

Viewing Assignments and Scores

To view the Learning Path assignments and scores of users who have viewed the course, click on Manage Course under Learning Path in the Admin Portal and select View Assignments and Scores. A list of all the Learning Path assignments will be shown along with any results of invited users who have already viewed the course. Click on Answers for any completed course to view the results of that user's course participation. You can also Unassign the Learning Path course from any user it was assigned to.


If you unassign a Learning Path course from a user, it will permanently remove any results for that user for that course visit and for any other course visits to that course, if it is allowed to be viewed more than once. It is a good idea to export a CSV file of all the results that need to be saved first before doing this.

By clicking on Answers, a list of all the questions answered by the user during that viewing session will be displayed along with an overall score and a button to export the results to a CSV file. Any correct answers will be highlighted in green, and any incorrect answers will be highlighted in red.
